Associated Environmental Engineers Ltd. was taken over and rechristened as UPL Environmental Engineers Ltd.
Shivalik Solid Waste Management Ltd.
Shivalik Solid Waste Management Ltd. was set up to operate a common hazardous
waste treatment, storage and disposal facility at Himachal Pradesh.
Kerala Enviro Infrastructure Ltd.
Kerala Enviro Infrastructure Ltd. was formed to operate a common hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facility at Kochi
Gharpure Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd.
Gharpure Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd. was acquired
Deonar Municipal solid waste Project at Deonar, Mumbai.
The project was awarded to a consortium, which formed a Special purpose vehicle (SPV) by the name of "Tatva Global Environment (Deonar) Limited" to execute this Integrated Waste Management facility in Deonar, Mumbai.
Gorai project awarded India Excellence Award 2010
The Gorai dumping ground was awarded the India Excellence Award 2010 during the 9th Contru function held in Mumbai. The award was given by Her Excellency Honorable President of India Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, to Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai S.S. Kshatriya (IAS) for All-India winner towards scientific closure of Gorai Dumping Ground.
Gorai dumpsite closure documentary wins prize at UNFCCC in Cancun, Mexico
A two minute Marathi documentary on the story of the successful closure of the Gorai dumpsite and promotion of climate friendly policies has received third prize in the CDM Changing Lives Photo and Video Contest 2010, from United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Cancun, Mexico. A certificate and formal recognition for the success will be received in the coming days after the conclusion of the UN Climate Change Conference.
